The International Sociology of Sport Association is dedicated to promoting international co-operation in the field of the sociology of sport.
Officially recognised as RC27 (Sociology of Sport) and also an official committee of ICSSPE, our organisational network spans the globe and currently have over 200 members worldwide. We offer regularly organised events and conferences as well as publish the ISSA Journal International Review for the Sociology of Sport eight times a year.
