Primary responsibilities include teaching graduate coursework in English, taking a collaborative role in mentoring graduate students, actively engaging in curriculum development and student recruitment, and maintaining an area of research. The positions have a four-course teaching load per semester (8 courses per year) with a mixture of lecture and seminar courses.

For those who specialize in “Sport Management”, broadly understood to mean the social science of sport, including sport policy and sociology of sport, 3 courses from the list of subjects below must be included in the four-course teaching load: Management for sport organizations, Sport finance and economics, Sport governance and policy, Sport event and facility management, Research in sport management, and Internship in sport business and other related subjects.
